Chain chokers for the forestry

They can be produced from chain G 80 or G 100, with round or D profile. The construction is very simple – one end is with a metal rod, for easy slipping under the logs, and the other ends is with a special hook.

We recommend chain chokers with G 100 D profile chain, which is specially produced for the needs of the forestry.

It has, depending of the size, appr. 20 % higher working load limit then normal G 100 and almost 40 % higher WLL then standard G 80 round link chain.

Also, the profile of the D chain, secures better grip of the chain to the log.

As specially designed for the purposes of the forestry, the D profile chain has also better surface hardening and wear resistance, in comparison with round link chains G 80 or G 100, designed for lifting.
